Align layers perfectly with snap-to-edge, center guides, and rulers in the free Photo Editor Studio. Magnet toggle, grid, and lock layers for pro-style layout control.
Sloppy alignment shows — especially on thumbnails and product cards. Photo Editor Studio includes a Magnet snap toggle, center guides, rulers, and a grid so you can place text, frames, and images on real edges and midlines instead of guessing.
Toolbar controls
- Grid — overlay spacing for rough layout.
- Snap (magnet) — pulls layer positions to canvas edges and center while dragging.
- Rulers / guides — show measurement ticks and a dashed center crosshair.
Precision workflow
- Turn on Snap and Guides from the top toolbar.
- Add a Frame or Text layer.
- Drag near the middle until it locks to the center guide.
- Lock the layer when it’s placed so you don’t nudge it by accident.
- Use Move for drag-only positioning, or Select for full transform handles.
Resize canvas without breaking layout
In Transform / Resize, enable “Scale layers to fit” (on by default) when you change canvas width or height. Layers scale and reposition proportionally so a carefully centered composition stays centered.
