Export PNG, JPG, or WebP from a Free Online Photo Editor
Download edited photos as PNG, JPG, or WebP from Photo Editor Studio. Set quality and scale up to 4×, see accurate size estimates, and keep transparency when you need it.
Editing is only half the job — you still need a download that works for the web, print, or social. Photo Editor Studio’s Export panel saves PNG, JPG, or WebP with quality control, scale (including 2×–4×), transparent PNG backgrounds, and size estimates that match the real download.
Which format should you pick?
- PNG — logos, screenshots, annotations, and anything with transparency.
- JPG — photos for email, forms, and platforms that reject WebP.
- WebP — usually the smallest for web pages and modern social uploads.
How to export from Studio
- Finish your edits (or jump to History if you need an earlier state).
- Open Export from the tool rail or the top Export button.
- Choose PNG, JPG, or WebP.
- Set quality (for JPG/WebP) and scale if you need a larger pixel output.
- Toggle transparent background for PNG when the canvas is clear.
- Click Download — the file saves via a reliable browser download.
Scale without reopening another tool
Export scale multiplies the canvas resolution for sharper posts and retina assets. The estimated file size uses the same scale as the download, so you won’t be surprised by a much larger file than the preview suggested.
Autosave tip for large images
Studio autosaves session state in the browser, but very large image data URLs may be skipped so localStorage doesn’t overflow. If you see a warning, export a full copy — that download is your permanent backup.
